Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity movement, said:

"Unity is a link in the great educational movement inaugurated by Jesus Christ. Our objective is to discern the Truth and prove it. The Truth we teach is not new, neither do we claim special discovery of new religious principles. Our purpose is to help and teach mankind to use and prove the eternal Truth taught by the Master."

Our curricula are based on and support Unity's five basic principles, which are:

  1. Omnipresence of God. God is good, everywhere present! No power can stand in opposition to God.
  2. Original Virtue of People. all people are spiritual by nature because God created everyone! Jesus Christ is a child of God and so are we!
  3. Mind Power. God's greatest gift to us is the power of the mind. We change our lives by changing our thinking and by speaking positive statements of truth.
  4. Practicing the Presence of God. God is always with us, but sometimes we forget. We consciously re-connect with the presence of God through prayer and meditation.
  5. Action. We put our principles into practice in our lives. Our religion is not what we say we believe but how we live our lives. We learn the truth & we live it!
