The Women’s Circle

Atlanta Unity is a caring group of women who meet at Unity. Women of all ages and walks of life participate in the Women’s Circle finding the comfort of a spiritual fellowship and the avenue to contribute to the church and the well being of each other.

Statement of Purpose

We seek a balance in spiritual growth, sharing, support,

and service to the church, community, and each other.

What are our meetings like?

Women’s Circle meetings are held twice each month on the 1st and 3rd
Saturday from 10:00 - 11:30AM. They are currently held in room 108. The
meetings are a combination of sharing and project planning. Occasionally

we do workshops to complete projects, such as constructing gift baskets for donation to the auction. Meetings are closed with a blessing and prayer circle.

Service Projects - Completed

• Collection of toiletries and clothing for the Atlanta Day Shelter for      Women and Children.
• Holiday gift bags for Atlanta Day Shelter for Women and Children.
• Altar flowers for Mother’s Day, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006
            2000,2001,2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 Mini-retreat.
• Teddy bear drive for abused children’s charity - August 2001.
• Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk team – October 2001.
• Collection for Angela’s House a Georgia girls’ safe house – Spring 2002.
• Fourth of July tent cards for patients at the VA Medical Center. 
• Atlanta – 2002 Scholarship fund donation for Women’s retreat.
• Inspiration Boxes.
• Bedtime gift for participants in Women's Retreat- Fall 2004.

Attend a Women’s Circle meeting! Become part of our sisterhood supporting
our church, community and each other. Make some new friends and find ways
to become involved at Atlanta Unity through the Women’s Circle.
