| WELCOME Rev. Barbara Huffman Associate Minister of Pastoral Care |
Please welcome Rev. Barbara Huffman to Atlanta Unity as our Associate Minister of Pastoral Care. A pastoral care minister does several things. They train and facilitate a chaplaincy program;; provide pastoral counseling for congregants; make home, hospital, hospice, and nursing home visits when requested; and generally serve as a support minister for a congregation. Barbara will also be teaching classes and supporting Rev. John in various ways.
Rev. Barbara's desires are to spend time with you and get to know you well, so that in your times of stress or need, she can serve you in meaningful ways. After ministerial school and serving a Unity church as senior minister, Barbara did both an internship and a residency in Clinical Pastoral Education to prepare herself to serve you better. She has also seen pastoral care clients in a private practice for the past year. Because Barbara is not receiving salary for her position, she accepts love offerings for her services. - From I-285 go North on Peachtree Ind Blvd at exit 31B (Ga 141).
- Bear Left at split on Ga 141/ Peachtree Parkway.
- At the 3rd light go Left onto Jay Bird Alley at the Wallgreen drugs.
- Take the 2nd Right at the Royal Peachtree Corners sign onto Parkway Ln. We are in an office park on the Left, 3597 Parkway Lane.
