John served as Associate Minister for Eric Butterworth at Unity Center of Practical Christianity in New York for six months before moving to Hawaii to serve as Senior Minister in 1991.

John has been Vice President of the Board of Trustees

of Unity School of Christianity for nearly ten years,

Chairman of the Board of the Association of Unity Churches

in '98/'99, and was the Unity movement's only delegate to

the Parliament of the World's Religions in Cape Town,

South Africa in 1999.

John and his wife were delegates to the Parliament of the World's Religions in Barcelona, Spain in 2004.  John is the President of North Dekalb Rotary (Atlanta area) in 2007/2008.

For too long, Christianity has focused so much on how Jesus died and was resurrected, that Christians have forgotten we are supposed to follow Him and do the things He did. Granted, it is more difficult to follow Jesus than to worship Him. Yet, His life, death and resurrection will have such deeper meaning if we do follow Him.  The same miracle-working power of God that Jesus taught and demonstrated is alive and well today.  The miracle-working power of God is available in you and me this very moment.  The important question for us is: Will we let the power of God resurrect the parts of our lives that we have believed were dead?  Atlanta Unity is here to speak, sing, affirm and show that God is still God, and that God is at work in our lives.  We can be resurrected! 

Please come and celebrate the miracle-working, resurrecting power of God at our services and programs at Atlanta Unity.  And bring your friends! We are alive with Spirit!  We are glowing and growing. We are celebrating the truth that sets us free. And we have a comfortable seat for you in our wonderful sanctuary.
